Kitchen – Rainham Kent
Our Clients in Rainham, Kent, found the kitchen of their dreams at their local Ream showroom.
“We chose Ream after a careful elimination of the closest competitors. We loved the quality of their kitchens and the fact that they were so close to home.”
After endless hunting for a design to suit their taste, it was our design team who got the couple’s creative juices flowing.
“We visited a number of kitchen showrooms, but in the end we decided to draw our kitchen inspiration from Ream.”
Contemporary over Traditional Design
Our clients opted for a mix of our Kent Collection and Ream Collection to create their ideal kitchen. The final design was achieved using a variety of colours, textures and high-quality materials.
The couple opted for a contemporary look over traditional.
“Our interior design style is modern, with good quality furnishings and decoration.”
Combining Functionality and Style
The couple wanted to combine the perfect blend of functionality and style to create the kitchen of their dreams.
“Our vision of the new kitchen was for it to be functional but with that ‘wow’ factor.”
The couple worked closely with our expert team during the initial design stages to turn their vision into reality.
“We wanted to be part of the planning and design process, and this worked well with Ream.
“We had in mind what we wanted in relation to the colour but not the style of cabinets. We were open-minded in terms of the design.”
They decided on a neutral look and kept the majority of the colour scheme cream, including the cabinets.
To add a stylish finish, they incorporated granite worktops as well as a beautiful feature island in the textured colour Copper Luxe with a solid wood feature table.
A Beautiful Bespoke Design
To create a more practical kitchen, the wall between their existing kitchen and utility room was knocked down to expand the space.
“We opened the kitchen up by having a utility room wall knocked down, making the room much larger.”
The new open-plan design has made preparing and cooking food an easier and more enjoyable experience for the couple.
“The new kitchen design has provided far more worktop space positioned right where it is needed.”
As well as expanding the kitchen space, they wanted to incorporate some unique features into their kitchen design. Plinth heaters, as well as a large wine cooler and a wall-mounted TV were added to create a chic home living area.
